The “#HeEconomy” has particularly surged in China, where the number of male luxury consumers has vastly increased, surpassing the number of female consumers … perhaps influencers are next? In China and around the world, #maleinfluencers are on the rise. 🚀

Male luxury consumption has been underestimated for decades. Today’s shift away from traditional masculinity & toward a more fluid, inclusive definition of masculinity has spearheaded this sector’s growth. 📈

In China & the United States, there has been a rise of non-typical male celebrities & influencers who represent different forms of masculinity & purchase habits: Timothée Chalamet, among others. 

As classic gender lines & codes blur, Vogue cited the rise of male beauty bloggers. Alas, what was once taboo is now considered trendy. 😎
